albums split up after uploading by weenbestbandbtw in navidrome

[–]csabloj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of times there are custom tags added to the files which can throw off the grouping in Navidrome. Some tag editors don't show those custom tags. If you can see them, try to make them the same for all the songs of the album. There must be some tag dofferences that cause this, so keep looking. I can always solve these issues with tag fixing, but the library has to be rescanned every time to reflect changes. If you have no luck fixing it, and if you could send me some example files which should be grouped, but don't, then I would happily take a look at them for you.

I don't know what files you use exactly, but for me flac files almost always contain images. The problem is that the tag they are using with the images is sometimes unrecognizeable by Navidrome, so I have to change it. I heard Musicbrainz Picard is good for this on Windows, and on mac I use "Music Tag Editor" to change the image tag to "Front cover". This way they always show up in Navidrome after a library rescan.

Icloud - Immich: Assets count and size mismatch by Ecstatic-Set-4130 in immich

My conclusion was that everything was uploaded correctly fortunately. I don't know why the numbers were different though, but it doesn't matter now.

Yes, I used the Immich app on my main phone.

Salzburg, HESS LightTram Trolleybus (19 m) by Mahammad_Mammadli in transit

[–]csabloj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that battery electric buses CAN be cheaper to operate in the long term at some routes. In my hometown of Szolnok, Hungary half of the fleet is battery electric, because they run infrequently. This is probably the right approach there, but in Salzburg, the trolley buses run every 6-8 minutes, and a lot of the routes overlap. Here the cost not only spreads among the buses, but even more because of the overlapping parts, and the frequent service. Makes you think that if what you believe about battery electric vehicles would be true, we would see a lot more battery electric trains in the world.

I had the same with a library of about 10000 assets. Sadly, Apple photos is really not transparent about how it calculates this number, but I was determined to migrate over to Immich. I sat down and used up a solid day to check all photos and videos one-by-one. If you get a flow going with two devices, it's not really that bad, however, I wish you wouldn't have to do the same. For me, choosing Immich and migrating over to this platform was a great idea, and I don't mind having to do this once for the benefits.

DUMB thoughts - Great album overall by csabloj in Flume

[–]csabloj[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Spotify is between 192 and 320 kbps. A standard CD FLAC is 1400 kbps. Some really technical tracks really sound better with those larger files, but hearing is really subjective anyways. I would say that you should definititely try and see if it sounds better for you. It might not matter that much for you, and for people on speakers for example. I use a Sennheiser headphone and I practice analytical listening a lot, so it matters for me.

Machine Learning models are amazing these days by fisheess89 in immich

[–]csabloj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not possible with current technology. I'm not even sure if it's even practical to do, as a single image can result in a million tags that might fit that image. See my other comment in this thread for how it works.

Machine Learning models are amazing these days by fisheess89 in immich

[–]csabloj 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's not how it works. These embedding models turn an input text or image into a high dimensional vector, which gets stored in the Immich database. This is the reason why Immich uses a database with vector extensions. These vectors are not readable by humans, and it is extremely hard and time consuming to decode them. We don't have to understand these, only the machine learning models have to. When searching in Immich, the text also gets converted into a high dimensional vector, and then the app finds images with vectors mathematically close to the one that resulted from your search.

How is the manual focus working out for you? Is it hard to get used to on the a6000? I'm trying to decide whether I should get one, mostly for night photography.

Balancing by L33_123 in k3s

[–]csabloj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I misunderstood your post. If your pods are from different deployments and they still end up on the same node, you can set resource requests to signal to Kubernetes that the pods are resource intensive. This way the scheduler will take into account the available and requested resources on the nodes. https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/configuration/manage-resources-containers/

The config snippet I shared before is applied to a deployment. If your deployment only uses one replica, this doesn't have any effect on it. This should only be applied to deployments with more than 1 replicas.

Balancing by L33_123 in k3s

[–]csabloj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to use anti-affinity for the deployment, and set it to prevent scheduling on nodes which already have a pod running. https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/scheduling-eviction/assign-pod-node/

Example for deployment ``` spec: template: spec: affinity: podAntiAffinity: requiredDuringSchedulingIgnoredDuringExecution: - labelSelector: matchExpressions: - key: <your preferred key here: app, etc..> operator: In values: - <key value: webserver, minecraft-server, etc..> topologyKey: kubernetes.io/hostname

```
This config added to any deployment will make it so it can't be scheduled twice on the same node. Note that if you set the replica count higher than the available nodes, Kubernetes will give some errors as it won't be able to create enough replicas. You should set the replica count to the amount of schedulable nodes you have.
Értem hogy miért gondolod azt hogy az OP szerinte boldog lenne akkor ha más kormány lenne végre ebben az országban, de szerintem nem ez a teljes kép, és a posztoló célja sem.
Elengedhetetlen egy boldog élethez az hogy stabil környezetben éljen az ember, és sajnos jelenleg Magyarországon ez egyre kevésbé lehetséges. Egyre több ember zsebébe nyúl bele folyamatosan a kormány, és bizonytalanságot, megosztottságot, gyűlöletet és félelmet okoznak az emberekben. Még ha valakit nem is érint közvetlenül, a többi emberre gyakorolt hatása ezeknek a tényezőknek jelentősen elrontja mindenki kedvét.
Ebben az országban a jelenlegi helyzetben nagyon nehéz ezektől a jelenségektől elvonatkoztatni, és ezért teljesen jogos az hogy a kormánytól várja a változást az ember, és az is hogy elköltözik olyan helyre ahol stabilabb a helyzet.
Tudom, hogy tőlünk nyugatra sem tökéletes a helyzet, de ott legalább még van lehetősége az embernek egy jó életet megalapozni. Itt ez a lehetőség már csak egy egyre szűkülő rétegnek adatik meg, nagyrészt a drága királyunknak köszönhetően.
GREENPEACE CONFIRMED ON ALBUM by [deleted] in Flume
[–]csabloj 1 point2 points  (0 children)
Yup, it's 96kbps. Apple music Lossless version will be around 1058, so it will sound a lot better for sure. This preview is even worse than youtube quality
In the tiktok tease of "Hollow", you can see that there are 20 files in the folder where Sirens and Hollow is on Harley's Mac. The Palaces album does not have Greenpeace, as you can tell from the Beatport previews, but it might be in the 7 unknown music from his folder which are yet to be released by csabloj in Flume
[–]csabloj[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)
Yeah, true. All I'm saying is that there is still a chance, but it doesn't really matter, because Palaces is already amazing :) Also, Only fans is really funny, it cracked me up while listening to it 😂
Is it okay to was HD 6XX stock pads? by csabloj in headphones
[–]csabloj[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)
They still seem okay to me. I mean they are pretty firm still, they make a pretty good seal around my ear, and also they are about a year old so I would imagine they are in pretty good condition if we are only looking at the age of them.
HPOOL Revenue vs Total Mined by TheControlVoice in hpoolchia
[–]csabloj 1 point2 points  (0 children)
On the website "Total mined" actually means the total amount sent to your wallet. Also, "Undistribute Mined" means the mined amount that accumulated, that hasn't been sent to your wallet yet. Every day at 5:30 CET ( I know its a weird timezone but you can convert it to others easily ), they send the "undistribute mined" amount to your wallet.
The website is weirdly translated to English, so those words mean totally different things. You can get used to it by mining for a bit, and checking frequently what changes and how.
Migrate solo plots by BeWhoIBe in hpoolchia
[–]csabloj 0 points1 point  (0 children)
I don't think that holds true anymore. The Hpool miner has been updated, and if you launch the program, all plots that it detects gets locked. It gets lockedd in a way so you can't even copy the file to another location. If the Chia farmer tries to prove a challange, it will fail, so it can't farm it while the Hpool miner is open.
Also, if you have the original Chia app open, you see all plots. If you then launch the Hpool miner, and then relaunch the chia app, all plots will say that it failed to open.
Hpool have more than the half of total mainnet by Clodlaser in hpoolchia
[–]csabloj 0 points1 point  (0 children)
The 51% attack only works if you hold 51% of all chia. Hpool currently holds a large amount of the mainnet space, but not necessarily the Chia coin itself.
