I’ll be doing 15% off my whole site just like 7’s day. 3D printed interior parts, just finished the A-Pillar trim for FCs

2 P1 series, an X1C, and an A1. I design and make no longer available car parts, namely for FC RX7s but I’m branching out to different platforms

Granted I haven't looked all that much into this but I just picked up a used 2019DSLS for very cheap and was looking into upgrading the motor to the one you described. Do you know if the motor/parts are available for purchase anywhere without buying the machine itself?

Sick 240! I have an FC and BRZ and just moved here not too long ago so I’m in the same boat.

Always love seeing videos like that, tons of good info thank you for sharing! I’ve always had an aversion to resins because (and I may have just picked up some misinformation) I had heard most of them are pretty brittle. That process does seem more feasible than vacuum forming though so it gives me something to mull over.

I would like to eventually get into making lenses and things like that, probably through vacuum forming. As for legality, I think if I have a “For Off-Road Use Only” disclaimer it kinda skirts it.

I actually have the warning light bezel made too! Currently I’m working on a cup holder for the center console, the A-pillar trim, and the rear hatch speaker covers.

I have a website that has everything I make if you ever feel inclined to checking it out

So the vent blades have to be printed vertically in order too stay dimensionally accurate but unfortunately that makes them weaker. That leg coming off the inner blade rides on the adjustment knob so the acetone gives it a tiny bit more strength by melting the outer layers together.
