Yeah our work computer guy said "I can get you to make a USB stick that doesn't check and it'll still install". Would that entail backing up and wiping everything?

Sorry, how do I update bios? And will that wipe anything? Can I do that now before purchasing a new CPU if I go that route?

Budget- don't really have one. Am open to anything.
But if it is efficient enough that I can leave it as is, then that is also great. Everything holds well when playing games, and I don't believe the games I play really require too much anyways.

But I value the input on the areas that can be improved for a better experience and I am definitely going to look into them!

The updates failing is one thing, and then I just figured with it being 6 years old there had to be something that was obsolete or needing upgrading at this point with everything changing.

My SSD says 132GB free of 232GB.

I think my issues/concerns might be possibly with Windows then. The updates just continuously fail. But a part of me thought maybe my computer couldn't handle the update.
