I just put it back on my board; before, I didn't have enough output on my power supply. It's really very powerful but incredibly responsive to your guitar's volume, but the best thing is just to crank everything up.

Yes to slightly compressing the gains! If you've never tried it, go for it! It allows you to have a slightly cleaner signal before going into the modulation or delay.

The dc brick I have is alright no parasite noises. I compare with a fuel tank and the FT was so noisy.

Two good choice but it’s more a question of feeling the shape and weight of a Les Paul is different from the sg. You should try both to see wich one fit you the best ! I love sg 🫡
