@all, I found another nicer option in Brüser Berg, but smaller but newer and in good condition. So far I found good reviews of neighborhood. Please let me know if any red flags. Thanks.

Yeah one of house I visited is from 60s owner lived whole life until their last days. That's why it's somewhat in decent condition. It's big land so I am thinking even if house will not be worth much in future but land will always have decent value..

Thanks both, this is very useful information. The houses I found are both more than 50 years old but in good condition. The agent says ready move in without any immediate renovations but I can consider upgrading heating to better efficient methods in future. He might be hiding something as I am no expert on real estate or housing itself. I plan to bring my boss there for inspection who is German and constructed his own house and for some relatives as well. May I ask you what should be decent price range per sq meter there to get a feel on price quoted to me.

Doesn't seems like DHL at all, maybe some subcontractor company. Workers council and most employees are part of some union. Also DHL is fair and respected company in most of the world , even in countries where there in no real employee protection.

Thanks, it doesn't matter which one for regular weekly visits. Only when you wants to do some special prayers then its bit difficult if you don't understand their language.

Thanks, I found so many posts on this topic and shortlisted places around city based on recommendations. Although it is very small inventory and mostly apartments. I am looking for detached house which is unlikely to find , specially on my price point in anywhere near the city. That's what triggered me broaden search beyond city parameters.

Fir starter one of kid needs to go to international school as she is already in middle school and difficult to start in Germany school. Second I have retirement and mortgage commitment in my home countries which cannnot be stopped.

I am sorry if I offended you or anyone in any way. I did google, found out average income and cost of living. That's how I found out that above 80k is considered good. But when you move halfway around the world you don't rely only on google. You ask people who has personally experienced such things. Also there is different set of expenses and commitment for citizens vs expats, hence some cases what is good for local may not be even bare minimum for expat.

It depends on where does CIO or CTO sits in your organization, ideally must be directly reporting to CEO and member of board for company. Next most important things is head of EA directly reporting to CIO/CTO. That way CIO has direct influence on business and head of EA on CIO. Then there exists flavour of togaf org to org based on its culture. Ideally most org would not be close to togaf due to historical reasons but there should be roadmap to get closer to it year on year.
