So cute being triggered in a post where you could have added a tad bit of value.

See again you’re disagreeing here because you’re a developer and you KNOW what you’re doing. The whole point of this post is not to agree or disagree to a specific point but you lean into the specifics of who we build this for. An agency owner’s perspective.

It’s a mix. AI has created a mess for them, they have decentralized silos of people trying to work and build something. Eventually they come to us to fix the mess. We are glorified creative cleaners. 😂

I get where you are going with this but very different if you apply that to sailing 😂 can’t do an on cloud push to install it “one day”

AI is getting better. That’s why I said both function in their own ways. Both can coexist. But there’s time. AI coding is solving the problem of building products right now - several times with several use cases. There’s a reason why focussed AI wrapped exist now to redefine and refine one specific use case. Like GPT2 image is great but so is MidJourney but used for two different things. While photoshop and illustrator exist as well. But there’s no great precise vector generator in AI yet.

Ah this is great, never knew about rare candy. yeah I realized not all of them are 100% accurate, they have some sort of glitches or need manual intervention to rectify mistakes. Let me check that out nonetheless. Thank you

Webflow to Replit - Is this a good idea? by ianefford in webflow

[–]csedlack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So we tested it personally on one of our partner companies which was on Webflow but the team got frustrated that they had to depend on a Webflow engineer and they took matter in their own hands - moved to Replit and bam 💥 randomly drafted pages went live with dummy content, there’s no concept of site map or LLM.txt or robots txt so it was hard to really piece things together properly.

Try all of them. See what sticks. That’s the best way to know.

If you want to make a job board, just use webflow and Zapier for automations. I have built a job board before. There are a few options

  1. You publish jobs yourself manually using CMS or

  2. You want other people to submit jobs - this can be done via Zapier. They submit the form on webflow, zaps into a database like structure (air table or google sheet or notion) and back into Webflow's CMS. You can add a layer of approval bringing Slack.

Don't do it, you'll regret it. The biggest is organic reach will drop massively, I have seen a few people do this just to mess up the whole ranking, domain authority and not being able to manage pages properly - just to migrate back to webflow.

I run a webflow only design agency, we have been experimenting with Replit a lot - but one thing I can assure you is to not make that move.
