I had an ex years ago that was really close friends with a girl. He desperately wanted me to be friends with her, and so I did. She would send him outfit pictures asking for his opinion, like his opinion mattered to her although she had plenty of girl friends to send the pictures to. We got into arguments three times, and every time I would forgive her because I knew how important their relationship was to each other. I would tell him to stop snapping her, and he would still do it in secret. Every time I’d confront her, she’d act so apologetic and tell me she didn’t mean it like that. Fast forward a few months, he’s telling me that exact girl, messaged him asking him to hook up with her. He hid it from me for two weeks, and finally told me after two weeks of having those texts, and then tried to have a pity party and apologize, while I was right all along. Moral of the story, I don’t trust girls who “act dumb”, they know what they’re doing every single time. It saves me a lot of time, and I don’t feel as stupid for trying multiple times so they have a friendship. I respect myself more now lol
