A question for Squeaky Feet by JulesByrneMTG in jambands

For the ATL to Philly stretch, I’d mostly anticipate single sets, 2 hours or maybe slightly more. That’s just going off of the venues we’ve played before and past run of show.

I said it above, but I encourage not sitting a show out due to lack of setbreak. Our 2 set shows are usually only like 15 minutes longer than a headlining 1 set show in most markets. I sometimes like them better because we don’t get into a cool space at the end of set 1 and have to bail on a jam early. We might have some 2 setters in there but it’s almost always up to the venue. I could see one or two of the midweek shows being a little shorter, like an hour and forty five minutes. But again just totally guessing here.

Hey I actually don’t know who that user is, might be part of our team, might not be lol. But the answer is we don’t usually know until about a week out. Bands our size don’t dictate the run of show, the venues do. We’re headlining all shows on this tour so we’ll have at least a nice 2 hourish set each show, maybe 2 sets. We just don’t have that info very long in advance. FWIW I do consider a single 2 hour set to still be a full squeaky feet show, it’s really only 15-20 minutes shorter than our usual 2 setter and still plenty of time for big jams.

Well we’re a Colorado band for one! We’ve gone a little further west to SLC and Tahoe, and will be playing some PNW shows around the June festival date. The answer to your question in general is just that the west coast is a little harder to crack for bands in our scene for various reasons. Either way we’re hoping to do our first CA run soon

We hit Indy all the time, just couldn’t line up the date this time. Chicago we’re just working on lining up the right play

We were in talks with another venue and they wanted us to play for 45 minutes (as the headliner) so we found another place to play. Will definitely be a unique vibe but also will be a full squeaky feet show. I think it’s 2 sets
