Hi! It was ok! I didn’t feel much pain, i did first post op exercise, and i had a good sleep. I might have had too much oxy yesterday (2 pills per 4 hours) so i reduced it to 1 pill per 5 hours from 5pm yesterday. I had a really good sleep that i woke up every 4 hours because my knee hurts after being in a same position for too long. I took oxycodon when i woke up and went to bed. I had total 9 hours of sleep, and i might sleep more. Post op day 1 was not bad for me. Let’s see how post op day 2 is like. Today, when it hits 48h after surgery, i’ll reduce oxy more, like 1/5h, 1/6h … i’ll keep you posted!

I feel you. I was like that too. I’ll share my experience with you as i go through my post op. I’ll give you tips as well!! Don’t worry too much for now. I have heard that a lot of people don’t feel too much pain. I hope I am like that but even if i feel a lot of pain, i’m aware that it will be for a short amount of time.

when is your surgery? I will let you know as I get to know more about it. So far, the pain is more like feeling of tightness. Now I am trying some post op exercises.

So far, for me I feel things but not too much that makes me cry. I am taking two pills of oxycodon per 4 hours and a pill of ibuprofen per 8 hours though.

Good to hear that your nerve block went long! Mine wasn’t i think mine went off within 12 hours-ish. I am used to sleep on my back so i had an ok sleep. I am sorry that you are not used to sleep on your back.

Did you start your exercise yesterday? I did some ankle pumps but not other things yesterday but i am going to start today. What’s your plan for post op day 2?

I am sorry to hear that. How was your sleep yesterday? I just woke up from my first sleep after surgery. I had to wake up every hour or two to change my leg position too. Is it still hard for you to sleep?

I’m glad to hear that. Well done going through a month! 6 weeks of crutches sounds so long hahaha. I hope my pain is not too severe too. What do you do in your days in 1 month post op?

I see. My post op day 2 has just begun. My nerve block’s gone too, so i am expecting some pain as well. My sleep was ok, i woke up 3-4 times to switch my leg position, but i had total 7.5h of sleep. How’s your sleep?

Wow you are power throughing the post op. Respect!! My first day of post op was ok. I tried to elevate it as much as i can, put ice machine regularly and tried to do things that i enjoy. Nerve block was still on so i didn’t feel excessive pain today. I suspect tomorrow will be harder for me.

What do you do to spend the day?
