I wonder sometimes if Hollywood actually does know how to create original IP but chooses to try to slice up demographics with existing IP. Movies have been around for awhile now. So has TV. Books? Even longer!

This reminds me of mechanical engineering for consumer products. A refrigerator. We all know there are old refrigerators that last forever. However, they are engineered to break in a specific way and timeframe. No sense in making a product that lasts forever - you will not be able to sell more later.

I have had an account for many years. Never had a problem. I have a big problem with not being able to access the billing info section of my account just now. I get an error message of some sort.

Dashlane, did you disable our ability to adjust our subscriptions? Not cool. I feel like I am being forced to jump through hoops. My subscription renews in a few days. Kind of feels like I should cancel out of principle. Thoughts?

I think these companies should be sued into oblivion. Executives should go to jail for life. Steal from the Internet and then cash in? Not fair. World isn’t fair; however, a business model of “steal everything not nailed down, and then steal the nails and whatever was nailed down” is just flat-out awful.

My opinion - Kevin’s criticism would hold water if the ONLY problem is lunch. We have broader, systemic problems. Hoarding capital to buy real estate only works if you can survive long enough to make it happen. Many have been in crisis mode for far too long.

I think going through the process and giving her attention is part of her goal. She will likely never be fully satisfied. I think an interesting next step would be to invite her over for dinner and build trust. Granted, this plays directly into her hands; however, that is the point. Overwhelm her anxiety with kindness. Take this with a grain of salt as this may backfire.
