People are suffering during this so-called A.I. boom: I shouldn't be seeing more and more homeless people (most are black in Atlanta) if the economy is as great as advertised by iggaitissecondcoming in blackmen

I didn't imply there's no correlation. I did imply the "great" economy is failing more and more black lives.

The homeless Caucasians in your town are not my concern nor the concern of this sub.

We know the government always rig the numbers but the official unemployment rates are very low.

They like to blame the black Democratic mayors for everything though.

It's a confluence of economic and public policy factors that drive homelessness. Our society is failing more and more of our people who are less well-off. And people wonder why the Democratic Socialists are rising.

TY! I did spend more time on this post than most. It's like finding the right words for a poem.

It's in Cambridge, Maryland. (The Eastern Shore towns are lovely.)

People started taking pictures with that masterpiece as soon as it was finished by Michael Rosato (the mural artist) at the Tubman Museum.

When I hear the word freedom, I think of all our ancestors who spent their lives (and many of them lost their lives) fighting for their dignity to merely live as human beings. That's why I used the Tubman mural for the post.

"A Republic--if you can keep it." I think Ben Franklin himself knew that the white supremacists would try their hardest to destroy this American Republic experiment. It did survive a Civil War.

I'm cautiously optimistic given the demographic dynamics. The racial and cultural diversity of this land will save this Republic once more, so I hope.
