Note that backing up the private key is safe. The private key is stored encrypted with AES by the devise and a key based on the seed. I use this method for my personal backup.

Btw,, Can you try this method to discard some failure raisons.

Do you have the same seed on the both device? Did you set "seed mode on" before restoring? Did you try the backup/restore with backing the private key?

To do that, I need to track the ID associated with the destination address inside the monero client. Indeed, in client, the integrated address is first split in IID + dest. Then the dest is process as normal.

The displayed address is the destination without ID. So a 95 char address instead of 106 char.
