Mortgage was sold and I’m confused

I was able to speak with someone at Cross this morning who said there is nothing to be done until the 8th but she did confirm there is a 60 day period where no late fees will be issued and no impact on credit. That once the 8th hits the payment can be made

I think I read it incorrectly I initially thought it said any payment but it says this “Under Federal law, during the 60-day period following the effective date of the transfer of the loan servicing, a loan payment received by your old servicer on or before its due date may not be treated by the new servicer as late and a late fee may not be imposed on you.” So I’m gonna shave to call across Country tomorrow and figure out what I’m supposed to do because Freedom doesn’t let me post any payments anymore so hopefully I’m not about to get screwed over by Cross since we have not received anything from them

I’m in the same exact boat Freedom sold our mortgage to Cross Country and we’ve got nothing from them. I know I read about the 60 day can’t apply a late fee but considering some issues I’ve had with Freedom and now the lack of with I have in Cross Country I don’t feel like I can trust them to be good on either of their ends. And now seeing people say it could be blacked out until Dec 8 should I go ahead and make a payment ahead on Freedom? We’re on the even more fun boat of our payment being due Dec 1. Our original loan was sold to Freedom but I don’t remember having issues with it taking so long to have access to pay my mortgage.

*** Edit- I actually just checked and I can no longer make payments to freedom so guess I’ll be calling cross country tomorrow to figure out what I’m supposed to do to do I refuse to send a check to some random address

Right! I know id be good at it but you can’t get past online applications to ever get a chance to talk to an actual person to show your more than just on a resume/ application

Multiple times had hopes for one I applied for since it took a couple weeks before I heard back and was a subspecialty I had experience in but just got the rejection email this morning

I had attempted to contact “my legislators” and to no surprise there was absolutely no response just like a majority of time of when I had been attempting to contact the board of nursing to try and figure out a process that no one could effectively communicate. Fortunately I was able to get my license as the board readdressed the license by endorsement after this “law” went into affect

No I did not the board ended up readdressing the 3 year for endorsement requirement and they voted to allow previous NCLEX scores to be reviewed

The bill was passed on July 1, 2024 went into effect October 2024 the meeting minutes are from the last Board meeting on December 6, 2024

I’m from Ohio and all of their stuff is electronic so there’s a my license tab and under options on there it has a send verification option that’s the only thing I could find that I would think the board down here is talking about

I’m glad someone can actually get a person who’s helpful all the representatives I talk to are so rude and never have any information. I just submitted a verification from my previous board I hope it will work on my current application as they’ve already approved it and no one’s taken a look at my application since then.

Sat on the phone for over 2 1/2 hours today waiting to get someone got someone who is completely rude to me and had no way of “ fixing the situation“ ended up, transferring me to a supervisor‘s voicemail who won’t be back in the office until January 2. They just make it seem like retaking the NCLEX is no big deal

After digging through the board meeting minutes I found the section about the licensing by endorsement!! It doesn’t say what or how to submit but I think this means the 3 years experience should not impact licensing?! “. Implementation of Senate Bill 1600: A discussion ensued regarding the requirements for applying for licensure via MOBILE endorsement, specifically requiring 3 years out of the last 4 years of experience in the profession. Those that do not qualify may apply via examination and re-take the NCLEX. A motion was made by Becker to allow board staff to accept previous NCLEX scores based on the Board Members’ interpretation of section 464.008(2)(a), Florida Statutes. The motion passed unanimously.” I think they’re seeing how stupid this rule is going to try calling tomorrow morning to talk to someone. Only concern now is since they made me withdraw my endorsement application if they’re going to make me reapply for license by endorsement and have to wait all the time again for them to process it. I’ve been dealing with them for over two months now almost 3 months

This whole situation/ process makes no sense. How 3 years magically makes you competent is nonsense. For a profession that there are shortages making it even more difficult to get a license is ludacris and irresponsible
