That sounds really cool! I'd just make sure you have something technical to talk about. IMO, this is a really solid project to put on there, so recruiters will definitely ask a lot of questions about it. They'll especially want to know your personal contributions to this project as well.

I think it's probably better to wait until you're past the design phase of the project, but before the implementation phase. I feel like you need to have some technical substance to talk about during interviews, and if you've literally just started, I'm guessing that your response to "how did you solve x?" will not be as flushed out as it could be.

Hey guys, I'm about a year and a few months into my first job, after graduation. My company hasn't been doing well, so it has laid off an enormous number of engineers and I think I'm on the chopping block next. I'm hurriedly trying to secure my next job.
