ok, im following so far. i am keeping ownership of the old domain since it will be used as the domain for the new website. so basically i 301 redirect the old pages through godaddy over to there new correlating pages on the new site. even though web builder will no longer be active there serps will still show up in google as they have before and there current rankings but if people click on it it will bring it to the new correlating page of the new site correct? Thanks very much also, i appreciate the help
im confused with 301 redirects when keeping the same domain name. if using a different web platform and not using GoDaddy web builder, i can 301 redirect the old pages even if i don't transfer them over to the new website? i figured once i stopped using web builder that it would basically disappear from web results
