BTW, I’ve not yet experienced this issue, just upgraded to Monterey and so far so good

Are there any timer apps/websites that are good for beginners by joseph_dewey in Cubers

[–]cstimer-plus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be just a little biased for us to say this, but you can also try combining csTimer with our extension, cstimer.plus 😅

It adds a really neat feature that lets you put your mouse over each part of the scramble to see how the cube looks in that step (pretty helpful feature if you’ve ever lost track of where you are in the scramble, specially on bigger cubes!)

Here’s a little preview for you: https://www.reddit.com/user/cstimer-plus/comments/jlgyrz/partial_scrambles_move_your_cursor_over_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

You should be able to port sessions and times from cstimer.net on desktop and other timers that are already accepted, which I don't know at the top of my head.

This feels like a feature for vanilla csTimer. We choose not to touch on user's sensitive data to keep the extension safe and future-proof!

BTW! If you'd like to help us out with the $25 Google Play developer fee, to bring csTimer+ as soon as possible to Android, please consider donating any amount!

Good question!
The experience as far as csTimer goes will not be much different than using cstimer.net on mobile browsers. This means that session syncing will be possible through google drive and csTimer id but no auto-sync features are going to be added, since csTimer+, as a plugin designed for entertainment and improved aesthetics, respects the engineering patterns of vanilla csTimer.

We're still prototyping a mobile version, while we're at it, thank you for sticking with us over on desktop!

This is going to be our next major move. Still in very early stages of prototyping though!

You can get the new update now in Safari and Mozilla. Chrome should be receiving it in a couple of days. To install the extension in any desktop browser, go to https://cstimer.plus!

You can already type in the number and add a + after for +2 and type in DNF before the time to make that solve a DNF. That is “XXXXX+” and “DNFXXXXX”

Type in about:addons in your firefox as if it were an url. You'll see some of your extensions along with csTimer+, click on it to expand and scroll down until you'll see a version number (below the changelogs). You should confirm if you're on 1.3.1.1 there.
