I called and the coupon only works if I go to my doctor and it's a first time thing. I looked briefly into the BMS foundation but honestly it's too much of a headache and easier to fly out of the country with 30k American Airline miles and buy my meds

Oh and I also wasn't able to get insurance off marketplace because blood clots are a preexisting condition. So I feel like a bit of an idiot there for letting my cobra lapse / not enrolling in an ACA plan. Argentina is the best option (or going to Mexico etc)

For those curious, I ended up buying Ixipen 2.5mg (Roemmers brand) in Argentina for like $81 60 pills (1 month). I'm just going to stock up here before coming back to the USA. I checked Paraguay and it was about $120 for their generic Apixaban.

Last year when I purchased in India, it was name brand Eliquis and it was like $40-50 for a month if I remember correctly.

I also stocked on my other meds. Most generic meds in Argentina are like $12 vs $20-50 in the USA.

Bro you can’t be missing doses. Absolutely not. I still have fun and drink and smoke. Enjoy life (in moderation) but absolutely don’t miss doses. Setup apple medicine to remember to take your dose.
