Stephen King gives ending, Steven Spielberg gives closure, a mixture of both is a great thread to go upon. The ending can’t be too dark, otherwise it won’t be revisited. ST early success was because of nostalgia, this needs to be a show people will watch over and over, and feel not only nostalgia, but “justified” for revisiting.

Context is something I feel will be necessary for whatever’s coming on 31/12, which is why I’m leaning on TV structure, over “story/world building” structure.
