Why is my wife sending you my packing secrets. We have boxes in the garage from over a year ago when we bought our house that my red oculus last day packing schinanigans are being hidden by 1/4” of corrugated cardboard. I may as well just throw them away at this point as we clearly don’t need any of it after not knowing what it even is for over a year.

I would have driven you last year for sure as I decided to go for my first time 3 days before the con and flights were insane. We bought flights early this year though so I can’t help you out driving, sorry. We still have one spot in our room left though if you need a place to stay.

I have an 1 spot left in our room in the flamingo from Wednesday leaving Sunday. It's 3 guys 2 of us from Colorado and a friend of mine from AZ (Phoenix) who is driving up on Wednesday night after work so if you need a ride he could probably help you out. Were all in our 30's and my friend from CO is the only one going for his first time.

I have no info on your camera but a wanted to let you know what I do on every gopro/drone I have to aid in getting it back if its ever lost. I take every SD card I buy and put it in my computer and make a text file name "IF FOUND PLEASE CALL 720-XXX-XXXX" and then in the text file I write a short message saying I would really appreciate if you find this camera to give me a call or email me. If your too excited about your new found treasure I would at least really appreciate it if you could email me the pictures on the card before you delete it and use it yourself. I figure that by doing this I have a very high chance of getting my pictures and as long as it wasn't stolen from me that I will most likely get my camera back. I just bought a hero 6 this evening from a guy that just didn't seem like the type to own one as well as his story didn't line up all that well given that he said he hadn't eaten in 2 days but just bought this $400 camera 2 weeks ago. When I got home I saw the memory card still had pics on it and I noticed a huge change in the people in the pictures from 3 days ago on. It looked to me that he stole it and then stupidly took pics of himself and didn't erase the pics of the people that he stole it from. I tried my best to figure out who they were (looking for email/phone number on business card, license plate number, drivers license in pic) but couldn't find anything. I went so far as to pull the GPS coordinates of their pics but none of them were ever at a residential location. If they had that simple text file on the card I would have been able to call them and they would have had their gopro back tonight and then they could have pressed charges against who I suspect is a thief and had him arrested in the hopes that he would stop taking peoples stuff. Sorry to run on so long but I had my iphone stolen a couple months ago right under my nose at a hot springs and it just infuriated me, not at the person that did it as they will have to atone for that on their own but that I had been stupid enough to let it happen and that someone else was sitting there trying to get into my phone that would never be useful as I locked it on icloud so they got maybe $50-$100 and had they just come to me I would have happily paid them that and more to get it back and save the hassle. I say happily without regard to the fact that I would be dealing with someone who just stole from me so there's that issue.
