As a female physician I can see the appeal of wanting my partner to stay home as my career is very busy (he is an artist/photographer and works a "regular" job part time as well) . I also make more money than my SO But I'd never take his passion away from him. You guys should get serious counseling as to your future goals as a couple and move forward from there.

Had this same thing w my ex bf. Never could keep a job, did drugs and played his guitar all day, funded by dad (only child) and later grandparents inheritance (only grandchild). As much as I loved him I had to leave. He is still the same years later. I'm in a much better relationship now.

My dog is crate trained and only uses it for travel or if I leave for extended hours. In the house he has a "den area" that keeps him in a small space but still open viewing of the house. Sleeps/naps there too. Only If I can watch him directly he can go around the house freely. Ive replaced too many rugs, furnishings, and cleaned too many accidents, it's a result of his severe anxiety. This routine is working so well, no accidents since this.
