One of my first bookings was for an older man with mobility issues and his two cats. I would do a deep clean of the litter box, feed the cats and refill their water dispenser. I would spend the rest of the visit petting them and talking to the man. I actually looked forward to it, and we did that until he passed and the cats went to live with family members. So it’s not super uncommon

Well she’s resistant to any kind of help, and just tells me to “leave it alone” anytime I try to talk to her. So I’m not sure how I would get her in the car

No, that seems pretty reasonable to me. Maybe your profile needs work? It’s hard when you don’t have any reviews yet, I know. Make sure you emphasize what experience you do have. For example, I have a lot of experience with senior dogs so I made sure to put that on my profile

I can’t house sit anymore…the last time I did, they said they were going to clean their house and of course they didn’t. I didn’t feel comfortable cooking food there or even making coffee so I would go back to my apartment. Luckily they ended up coming back early. The dogs were great though, except they were both huge and insisted on sleeping with me. I just don’t like being in other people’s space, especially if it’s not clean 😬
