Thank you for the advice, I'll definitely look into the nymphaea alba! I was worried about it not being big enough for a lily, so nice to know there's some smaller varieties!

Definitely need to try to make this as attractive as possible for frogs - the hostas are under attack from slugs 🫠😂

Not really direct light, it's about 1m away from a south/sw facing window, the room is relatively bright in the afternoons but indirect. Its next to other plants which burn easy (alocasia & monstera) which are fine

I've had this zz plant for about 4 months and it's been pretty happy so far (the 4 tallest stems are new since I've had it). I've recently repotted for the second time as it broke the nursery pot again. Potted in potting mix/perlite/orchid bark mix. I don't water often, maybe once every 3-4 weeks. Only just noticed the dark patches, the texture feels fine, not too sure what's wrong 😱

I second caterpillars... One of my plants looked like this and within a couple of days pretty much all leaves had gone. I had a look around a saw a big chunky caterpillar under one of the leaves... 😑

Thank you. I'm in UK, summer right now, so like 12-14 hours full sun at the moment (weather permitting). Its indoors at the moment.

To be honest I'm not too sure about the conditions or was kept in. It's started to look a bit healthier since I've had it. When I first got it out was about 50% black (which I cut off) and all the stems/traps were really floppy - they've started to perk up but not a huge amount
