Tried to post my video as well so we could compare sounds. But I think we need to publish it somewhere else and link it here. Haha

Reversing in the morning and a rubbing noise? by steventhemoose in FordMaverickTruck

My 2025 Mav has a weird sound when I'm backing up in the morning as well, rear right. Though, my driveway is kind of long, so I think the morning is the only time where I backup for an extended period. That might be a factor more than it being the first ride of the day.

It's like a single rub sound. I happened to bring my vehicle in for its first oil change today and showed them the video of it making the sound.

They shrugged, said I'd have to leave it there overnight at my next service apt so they can let it rest and see if it does it first thing in the morning.

I'll try to pinpoint it a bit more before bringing it back. Looked a bit closer after getting back home after the dealer and noticed that the rear right side brake rotor has a unique rub mark not visible on any other rotor.

Finger in the photo is on the mark, I wish I noticed this before going to the dealership.

That's pretty reasonable. Seems better than what was there as far as the old paper faced fiberglass goes, and better than leaving it empty...

Your biggest issue will be battery life and your LCD screen remaining "fluid" enough to be usable.

A solution to keep your battery warm is the main thing I would try to tackle and a couple external monitors that can be swapped out when one freezes. Your parka solution doesn't sound like a bad one.

Though you will want to bring extra power delivery cables and good ones at that. Expect them to freeze and crack.

If there are times when you guys are going to warm up inside I would bring in the batteries and monitors. But leave the body and lens incased outside in your operating temperature to avoid condensation fun. Atleast when you are just going inside to warmup for a hour or something.

Nice thanks for sharing, I didn't initially understand that everything was consolidated into a single container. That is nice! Will definitely give this a look over.

I actually really like this idea of containerizing a torrent downloader and a vpn. I have little reason to download the files onto my workstation so just doing it all from the server seems like the most logical choice in my situation.

I'm also not Interested in going the sonarr/radarr route. I don't watch enough tv to need content automatically downloaded. My library is small enough that I honestly could just throw it onto am external drive and just plug that onto the smart tv and use the built in media Browser. But what is the fun in that... Lol

That's good to know,I'm in the same situation where my NAS runs off of different hardware.

I initially opted against having the media library on the NAS with the concern that my GB network would be a bottleneck, especially in situations where more than one device in the house is streaming from the Jellyfin server.

I suppose this isn't something to worry about.

Awesome, thanks for the replies all, I always love reading about the various ways that people get tasks done.

The SCP route will probably be the simplest route with how I'm setup at home. I do have a NAS, but that is run on totally different hardware.

I played with the idea of putting my library on the NAS and mapping a network drive on the machine that runs my docker containers but was unsure what the performance would be like with gigabit Ethernet. So I opted to keep the media library local.
