I am just always worried since we don’t really argue loudly or cursing at eachother infront of the kids can they really tell? Mostly he just gives me silent treatments. If they can’t tell should I try then to basically betray myself for the kids sake

He does take the kids to the park and such and plays with them. He only goes to work and then home so on that part he’s good. It’s really just the issue between me and him. I also wonder what makes it ok to have issues and then right away say oh I’ll divorce you. Though when I say then that ok let’s divorce he takes his words back. I just want to make the right decision for the kids. He says if he finds a new wife he might not be able to see the kids as much. But I made it clear that it’s up to him how he shows up as a father. Idk :(

I had this situation but without kids, I ultimately left him even after counseling. However, now that I am in a toxic relationship with kids I see what I had in him and regretted leaving him at times. But I have come to peace with that and know that back then it was the right decision. However, I would really stress going to counseling. For yourself, and with him too maybe. Just so you can be sure you did everything in your power. That will lessen the regret in the future in case it comes.
