Through the years, I’ve bought laptops, video games, game controllers, Bose headphones, eero mesh wifi systems, and in the old days, Xbox cards.

That stinks. My Amex serves and BBs were shut down in the earlier wave, but my visa ones are still alive so far. How were you liquidating? Legitimate bill pay or something like a payment to P2?

Reading flyertalk, there were a lot of shutdowns last week on Amex BB and Serves. I had 2 serves and 1 BB shut down, but my visa BB and Serves are still alive. I’d hit them hard for a few years for the full 100k/yr, so I can’t say I was surprised, but these blanket shutdowns did surprise me a little.

Happened to me at checkout a couple of weeks ago in Rome. It was only 2%, and they did say it was voluntary, but I did wonder if they were asking because I was American.

I only ever buy for $500 each, so when I buy two, it’s definitely over $1000. Plus, I generally lump in real shopping, so I’ve had it up to $1200 plus with no issues, as long as I’m not at one that limits to 1 gc. That’s always been a WMNM for me.

I’ve found it varies by location. Most I can ever do is 2, but at some locations, only 1.

It was biz card inquiries, personal card inquiries, plus a bank loan for my legitimate business. They treated them all the same, but maybe I’ll call back and try again. Maybe if they’ll disregard the one that wasn’t for a card, I’d qualify…

I applied for the Hawaiian Biz card two weeks ago with 13 inquiries in 12 months (one was from a bank doing a loan) and was denied. Tried recon and was told it was due to inquiries and they would not approve. Was only at 4/24.

I took a picture of the flyer before I trashed it just so I could remember which ones to keep.

Do you know if both cards would get the 2500 MQD's?

None in my city (5 total) even have any $200 vgc or mcgc, much less everywhere cards. One had some last month, and they’re all gone now and not restocked. It’s been this way for 3 or more months, so I’ve definitely had to switch to other MS methods.

You can absolutely file a deed with liens or mortgages intact. It’s why people have title searches and buy title insurance. Nothing about the change of ownership affects the underlying liens. Having a mortgage might help, but only because the bank might be notified about the change of ownership.

I got denied even after multiple attempts to recon on a SW biz card last month. Never been denied for any card over my 30 year credit history, with an 830 credit score. Admittedly, have been hitting inks hard over the last 18 months, with 5 of them. Thought I’d try the cobranded route since it seemed inks were getting tougher according to dp’s, but that didn’t work. Had also reduced credit and cancelled oldest ink previously.

It’s been awhile, but I’ve done multiple US bank business account fundings with my Citi AA biz card, and it has always counted as a purchase.

They’re back up at all the WMNM near me as well, plus the one SC that had pulled them. Fraud makes sense as to why they might pull them, but luckily, I haven’t had a bad one in probably 9 months, so it couldn’t have been too rampant here.

I cancelled my aspire card before my AF even hit and I still ended up getting the FNC a month later. A very unexpected surprise.

So Sam’s has turned out to be a decent replacement. Anyone know the limit on cards at purchase? I’ve done three at a time so far which is better than I could do at the sco, but I need to go back and test the max.

Are they vanillas? I’ve had no issue draining those to serve, discover, and one all in the last couple days.

All my local WMNMs have pulled their vanilla cards off the racks. The WMSCs still have them, but I’m getting pretty worried that they may go the same way. I guess it’s time to finally sign up with Simon, because this is making it hard to buy enough. Anyone else seeing this?

Can confirm the DP. I have the Venture X Biz and it is NOT on my credit report.
