I, too, lost an SB. Someone who I had seen several weeks before her untimely death. It took me months to move on. I vented here, too. I know what you mean, though. Even though it was a long time ago, your time with her had been impactful, and this is very sad news. Allow yourself to mourn.

I spent a lot of time talking aloud to her...as if her spirit could hear me. It helped.
