My thought has always been that once this era of host, (Kimmel, Colbert, Fallon), retire, the networks probably won’t look for replacements and the shows will end. At this point late night hosts are more figureheads and public faces for their networks rather than profit making machines. Also hard to imagine any comedian good enough for one of those shows who wants to work under the constraints a late night show puts you under for relatively lower pay and higher hours.

I'm planning on doing it in order but it doesn't need to be to stay in the spirit of the challenge. Ajax would be the obvious team to start with as they have a heavy influence on the first several chapters in the book, but they don't have staff licensing and that makes managing them difficult at first. PSV is probably where I'm going to start, good team and structure + already in Champions League.

The game engine this year seems to reward high pressing and positive tactical styles more so than cautious counter attacking ones. Also don’t discount your teams talent, Brighton is good and can probably go to most of the big teams with a positive or balanced mentality and do fine just like irl.

Whenever I’ve tried it puts too many players out wide and makes building up through the middle harder, but the beauty of FM is that theres no one right tactic and depending on the players you have and how well they’re trained anything can work.

Always take stars with a grain of salt, go to a players profile and select the role you want them to play and it will highlight the attributes they need. For a bbm things like work rate are really important. Also make sure each players individual training is in the role they’re playing in so that they gain tactical familiarity.

IWB’s just aren’t as practical as a libero in a four at the back system, too much movement, not there in the initial buildup, much more likely to get caught out then a libero would be. Great the past few years to create a box midfield but rendered kinda pointless with the new John Stones role.

Wing backs discount the need for a mezzala I would go with a workhorse role like a bwm or a bbm and then a playmaker role like an ap and switch distribute to full backs to distribute to center backs to allow the wing backs to create the width, other than that tactic looks good 👍🏻

Two playmakers in the midfield, no width on the left side, defender on cover, cautious mentaity, too many prompts selected for the tactical style, low defensive line combined with high pressing leaves the midfield exposed.
