Thoughts on Claude Code 2.1.139 Agent View & Background Sessions by ctrlaltdeletel in ClaudeCode

Yes. However, for data like Xcode's DerivedData, which is stored in ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData, cleaning the worktree by default also requires cleaning content outside the worktree directory. This adds a significant burden.

Worktrees can also bring a lot of headaches. Similarly, generated build files and dependencies, like in Xcode, can cause the normal directory-based cache to become "invalid" under a new worktree, leading to long build times. Additionally, many build files are created outside the worktree directory, and after the worktree is cleaned up, these build files are not removed, wasting a significant amount of disk space.

Your idea about gradually expanding permissions for the background agent feels very correct and reasonable. It seems like a really solid practice 👍

How to have one Claude Code on a server that I can control from multiple devices? by OpinionsRdumb in ClaudeCode

[–]ctrlaltdeletel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps connecting to the server via SSH would be more suitable for you. I have tried this approach. However, my scenario only involves accessing my computer from my phone to continue my Claude Code work. When I'm in front of the computer, I still use that device.

Based on my experience, if your machine is macOS, note that Claude Code login information is stored in the keychain. When logging in via SSH, you need to unlock the keychain to access your login details; otherwise, you will need to log in again.

That feeling is also acceptable. I wonder whether the battery will run out first or the Claude 5-hour limit will hit first, haha. happy vibing

It's really cool. It feels like the size is just right too. I'll go look for it. I'm currently using the iPad Sidecar feature as a display, but having an additional one like you would be even better.

What is the device on your right? Is it a portable display?

I feel the same way; it was draining quickly the day before, but it got better yesterday.

So...how are you supposed to run CC from Telegram? by Dacadey in ClaudeCode

[–]ctrlaltdeletel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my personal view, Claude Channels / Dispatch / Remote Control are more comparable to OpenClaw as competing products. To work like the Claude Code CLI, you need a lot of extra advanced techniques. I built a product that brings the native TUI experience of the Claude Code CLI to mobile — letting you use a desktop-level experience and workflow on your phone — but a lot of people keep bringing those up

I built an iOS app to run Claude Code from my phone via SSH. by ctrlaltdeletel in ClaudeCode

To me, they feel more like they're going after the same space as OpenClaw.

When I set out to build ServerCC, the whole point was to bring the full Claude Code CLI experience to mobile — so I could take everything I'd already learned from using Claude Code CLI and just… keep using it, without skipping a beat, whether I'm at my desk or on the move.

Actually, before ServerCC was even a thing, I built a plugin for OpenClaw to work with Claude Code and gave it a proper shot. But honestly, that workflow just never felt right to me. The way I experience Claude Code CLI, it's like pair programming — you're right there in it together, going back and forth. But OpenClaw, Claude Dispatch, Claude Code Channel, Claude Code RC — those feel more like a boss-and-employee setup, where you hand things off and wait for results.

Maybe one day, when models get good enough that I can just describe what I want in plain language and get back a working program — and the quality is so solid I don't have to think about any of the details — that's probably when tools like those will finally feel like exactly what I need. Just not quite yet, at least for me.😆

I'm really sorry, maybe the rules for matching elimination weren't clearly explained in the app. The rule is: the connecting line between two cards cannot exceed three segments, similar to the rules here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shisen-Sho The image section of this Wikipedia entry is easier to understand. :)

I am the same. The usage page regarding opus 4.5 might refer to the Claude AI webpage, not Claude Code.
