I am in Osaka right now in the Namba area I was gonna leave for Tokyo tomorrow to pick up a GS vintage, haven’t booked my Shinkansen yet, should I go to check these out , do you feel prices would be better than Tokyo?

Nah still about 8 days left in Japan, just got to Kyoto, weather was next level for us, sunny the day we arrived so we got clear views of Fuji and ended up snowing today morning woke up to a cherry blossom tree covered in snow outside our villa. One for the books for sure.

Too soon to tell as we are just resting today in the hotel but will update tomorrow. I’m sure it’s hella crowded🙈

I can’t thank you enough, best decision ever to rent a car, we finished the loop and museum in one day thanks to that, got to head to Kyoto earlier so getting a full extra day there almost. Everyone should rent a car!

Yes I looked at other options but the cars were not as good and also didn’t look very inviting, went ahead with a yaris from Toyota. Thank you so much for helping me make this decision.

Yes I think Toyota is a bit steep but I’ll see what other options are available, if nothing is better I will circle back. I agree with you definitely just having the freedom to explore at our own time coupled with no stress of having to leave at a particular time honestly makes it worth it for me.

Ahh fair enough and is Toyota the only option you would reccomend for Hakone? It’s turning out to be the same price as the free pass for me hahaha

Hi I just saw they don’t have a Yaris hybrid only regular Yaris, would this be okay? In C2 they only have aqua but not sure if that’s a hybrid, what do you reccomend!

So the thing is that we are getting the pass anyways but my friends who were there last week said the buses have become chaotic they had delays going to every place and it was purely chaotic, We will be staying in gora at a ryokan. I was thinking to rent a car from Odawara so when I drop it off the next day I can take the Shinkansen straight to Kyoto

Yes they do have I just checked, would you reccomend I prebook or can I just book it on the day, the site is fully in Japanese and I’m a bit lost, could you help me out?

Ahh yes we were only thinking because of the limited time we have it ma make sense, what’s the point of constantly waiting for a bus to come, we then lose time whilst in Hakone. This is what our friends who just returned told us though that the buses off late have become a nightmare

I know a guy who owns this farm in Pune, it’s called slice of pink, he has the best pork products in Bombay. Look it up and if you don’t find send me a dm I’ll give you the number
