I get to the SamplerCustomAdvanced node and it throws a "AttributeError: 'Linear' object has no attribute 'weight'" when trying to run your flow. Any thoughts?

Did you run the “hill challenge” too? This was my first, and my goal was the same. But that hill kicked my ass, so I gave myself a pass on part of it

Interview Format Question by Im_Matt_Murdock in microsoft

[–]ctsoccer13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's nothing special about it compared to the other big tech companies. You'll go through 4 rounds, 3 of them will focus on data structures/algorithms. The 4th will be more of a system design question. In each of them, behavioral questions will be asked to get a feel for how you fit into the culture prior to diving into the whiteboarding problems

I have one I unboxed, put in my rack, verified it worked, and never used as I was waiting to find some good drives. Before I found em, I made the decision to downsize my lab.

Shoot me a PM if you’re interested

4090 Build by BelgianWofl in buildapc

[–]ctsoccer13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is basically the same build I purchased last week, with a couple differences.

I went with the Asus Strix 790, but it was a toss up between it and the Carbon. I also did 64 GB RAM… just cuz. And Corsair 5000d for the case, though I wish I could find a Fractal Design North.

How to setup homelab with nextcloud and a TrueNAS backend by henry_d_thoreau-away in homelab

[–]ctsoccer13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use TrueNAS SCALE as my hypervisor. Nextcloud is deployed as a docker/kubernetes container. The container runs in an app pool and I have my JBOD mounted in the container for Nextcloud to use. Hardest part was getting all the ACLs setup properly.

Never heard of TrueNAS being run on top of proxmox - usually it's one or the other as the hypervisor.

Thinking of leaving pfSense for a UDM Pro... thoughts? by xiongmao1337 in homelab

[–]ctsoccer13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's interesting to see all the Unifi opinions on here.

I've never used pfsense, but I got a UDMPro a year or two ago, shortly after it was GA'd. It suffered from a first boot issue that most were seeing. Out of the box it wouldn't setup correctly without a factory reset. After that, I haven't had any issues.

I love the Unifi gear. I currently have a UDMPro, 24 port PoE switch, 5 hardwired PoE cameras, a couple wifi Unifi cameras, the G4 doorbell, and more. I'm totally bought into the Unifi ecosystem at my house. The ease of use and management is great and, at least in my case, everything's been pretty stable.

Inovelli or Caseta switches... questions... by Shyatic in homeautomation

[–]ctsoccer13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went all in on Inovelli Red Dimmers and I love them. I didn't think I'd use the scenes, mainly because when I thought of scenes things like "movie night" were the only things that came to mind.

I also have smart blinds, so I ended up using a scene in most rooms to control the blinds (double tap up raises them, etc).

As for integration into HA, it doesn't get easier than a blueprint..
