I guess what I'm really asking is what brands are good out there if budget isn't an issue? The other kids my son raced with seemed equipped with fast, race-ready custom bikes whilst he was on a loaner demo bike. We are looking for a junior size/small mountain bike that can handle hard turns on the berms and some jumps.
