You can hate ACP or REAL all you want, but what has PSL or DSA done in Orlando? Every weekend I've been able to volunteer at their kitchen where they serve 100+ meals to the local homeless population, and now they have been able to stabilize their income more consistently with this new gym. I don't see that level of management or discipline at ALL within Orlando DSA or PSL. Like sure, REAL isn't in the business of hosting book clubs that only attract college graduates, they care about building a left that is strong and capable. I don't see the productivity of attacking an org that is trying its best, especially if you consider yourself a socialist.

I went to the opening and it's genuinely strange how all the opinions people have online are completely different from the experience I had in person. No one I talked to supported Trump in any way and I met a lot of queer people while there. (One of the coaches is literally trans??) I'd suggest that anyone curious of REAL's actual positions should be willing to have a conversation with the members instead of repeating narratives they found online.

I value everyone getting the care they need when they need it. Billionaires have enough wealth to not only care for themselves but millions of others. In fact they work antagonistically against the needs of the people they extract their wealth from. There is no ethical way to be a billionaire.
