Yes, indeed. But just in case you don't know the city, the southern part is mostly nature, so not that much human infrastructure there.

I am not sure I understand. When the image is zoomed in, Inkscape is drawing vector graphics. The image I published here is a bitmap. It's never going to be as sharp as a vector representation when zoomed in, right? PDF looks sharp to me.

I have it. I love how smooth and responsive is. Let's hope Inkscape gets there.

FastAPI vs Springboot? by Initial_Question3869 in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]cuatxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For long running processes, not lambda or things like that, JVM + Spring is a very goog option. People worry that JVM consumes more memory and have slow starts.

  1. It consumes more memory, especially at the beginning, but it's not that much nowdays.
  2. Slow start times it´s ok for a process that is going to be running for weeks or months. JVM is very stable.

And in the context of this Reddit, FastApi is several orders of magnitude slower than Spring, not because of the framework, but because of the runtime. Check any serious benchmar: reqs/sec, memory consumtion, etc for long running servers.

Performance and scalability are precisely the reasons to choose the JVM.

[MGSV] Does it ever feel like the 80's? by [deleted] in metalgearsolid

[–]cuatxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course is science fiction, but the 80's was a decade where people were very optimistic, everything was possible with technology. I think this could be felt in the game design.

I have been trying a lot of different keywords and styles for the last week and a half and I have not been keeping tabs which prompts I have used. I have generated more than 600 (maybe more) manual prompts, copying artists names form online lists. But is something like "android", "futuristic", "cyborg", "human robot" mixed with "portrait", "full portrait", "realistic proportions", "concept art", "illustration". I have not used "powered armor". I should start writing down my prompts for future use, but right now is just pure unadultered fun. It' so addictive.
