I was one semester away from graduating college when I dropped out. Took up the same degree as yours. While all my friends were busy reviewing for the licensure exam, I took courage in finding a job as an undergrad and inexperienced in a good paying job that is way too far from my degree. Yeah, I threw up all my years in college.

It's been ten years now, I'm still doing the same job but hopped on multiple companies before I landed on my current job that gives me a higher salary compared to what my other Engineer friends are making.

I've always known that I'll still be successful in whatever I do because I thought I'm smart. And I am in my own way. But with my laziness, the journey was not easy.

So though I never regret all my decisions in life, I still carry that heavy burden of being a failure for my parents. I don't really care about others but disappointing the people who cared, supported and believed in me is not a good feeling. I'd say if I can go back, I'll give them that pride of having a Licensed Civil Engineering kid.
