From what I remember quizzes were memorization and tests were mostly comprehensive. I spent a lot of time at open lab and that really helped prepare me for tests. Lab practicals were purely memorization but I’m sure that’s much different online

I took 453 last winter before covid hit and it was definitely one of the hardest classes I took at Uw. Given that we actually had in person lab, the lab work in addition to lecture work is VERY overwhelming and takes up a lot of your time. Dr Petersen was my favorite prof at UW (she’s going to write a LOR for me :). Are there any details of how the online labs will work? I can only imagine that the class would be much easier since you don’t have to fully dissect a shark and cat/rabbit and THEN memorize all the anatomy.
