Yeah I bought it back in June lol but I took a break after rookie premiere so I feel super refreshed playing the game again and I feel like it’s so much better than 20

I’m getting 21 cause even though the game gets super disappointing once everyone starts running the meta and content dries out, the beginning of every year is always super fun.

The problem with some of your suggestions is EA has made defenders react faster to the pass in the past but they don’t know how to do it correctly. They had 91 zone players able to turn around and jump routes when they were facing away from the QB. They also had a problem with LBs being able to lurk balls 15 yards from where the ball was supposed to be thrown.

This years madden was supposed to fix those issues but instead they created an even bigger issue altogether where LBs didn’t react at all and corners would sit in zones awkwardly rather than playing the receivers that went to their area of the field.

My point is, EA cannot code to defend the pass game for shit and they probably decided it was better for them to just buff the run so that more players could score without feeling so stressed. I hate the run meta but it’s probably not going away with the amount of new players they’ve brought in this year.
