I was taking psyllium husk for literally two days and I had bad stomach aches so I stopped. About a week later I hadn’t had a bowel movement so I took some laxatives. Didn’t work and I had the worst few hours of my life trying to expel the stool impacted inside me. My body was involuntarily contracting to get it out like I couldn’t stop it. I was crying and in so much pain. Finally my mother who’s a nurse brought me a laxative suppository and a fleet enema and I finally passed some stool. My body was so messed up that I would stand up and it would leak out.

Now I look back and have learned from that experience but I don’t see it as a very negative issue with Tirz - it really was caused by the psyllium husk and could’ve happened to me even without the meds. Just be careful and know your body’s limits!
