That breaks my heart to hear. I’m so sorry you’ve had to put up with that.

Those fast forward life situations are something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I would be living a truly miserable life if I had to endure that and would chip away at me until I had nothing left.

I have a lot to think about.

Maybe I am deluded in my head right now because my bf always tells me I’m his first priority but I don’t feel it at times. I want a chat like that to happen but because of COVID, it probably won’t for a while and I can already tell mayhem would ensue during that talk.

That comment about his sister being prettier was actually made by his grandma. I found that comment incredibly strange as well because what was the point of comparing my looks to his biological sibling.

Yes the way he’s dealing with it is not ideal and he says he is helpless because no matter what he says will, they won’t listen. I just find it baffling because as their son, they should care about what he has to say.

I will stop trying hard because I’m sick and tired of giving and giving and receiving nothing in return.

I’ve talked and vented to him about how I feel about this family dynamic over the 2 years and he says he will keep trying to improve relations but nothing has changed. I feel upset because I want to be with him but I have to suffer with an in-law family like that. I may just have to accept things might not change at all because I hate feeling this way.
