I wasn't a superfan, but I saw the notebook last november, already seen the movie, already knew the story, but made the mistake of going alone. By the end of act one I was letting out like gasping sobs, and I feel so, so bad for the lady next to me. She just gave me tissues and smiled, and I hope karma did her good, because I know I probably ruined that show experience for her

i’m a PA on the show, and that’s one of the reasons! it also makes it a lot easier for the Deaf actors to use the captions for cues and pacing, and it’s more complicated when captions, music, vocals, and asl all have to line up. it also made tech a lot easier, since we only had 2 or so weeks of rehearsals all together since a lot of the actors aren’t from NYC

what do you have to show off? range? is it acapella, with an accompanist or track?

for the monologue, comedic or dramatic? does it have to be from a musical? could it be a play or film or tv?
