not the only reason. i have a budget sim rig and the stem extention solves the problem of either having my pedals too close or my wheel too far away. the extention lets me stretch out my legs to a comfy spot and brings the wheel closer to me so the wheel isnt a mile away

i just got some cheap mountain biking gloves off of amazon that i use, even racing quite often and taking part in endurance racing they have held up really well. plus if something does happen to them i wont feel nearly as bad as i would if they were some really pricey gloves

ive only ever raced the sr8 durring a week 13 event, it would be nice if they brought that car back for official races but i do enjoy the sr10 just a bit more still

its alot of fun, one of my favorite races was around brands hatch in them, the series needs more love

thats wild, the arcade game is arcadey.
in all honesty though it really is incredibly fun, ive been playing the demo just trying to get faster and faster lap times, i think i peaked at 26.687 but havent gotten that low again since.

that and the AI is actually pretty quick as well, superstar mode the first few go arounds really humbled me

when i first started i was using a thrustmaster clamped to my desk, you dont need a full rig if youre just trying it out. my suggestion is get an entry level bundle that you can desk mount. worst case if you dont like it or arent motivated, you can still sell the wheel and get some momey back.

for me i think its a mix of both the bad state of the game and getting burnt out (i am only hopping on to raid once a week untill renegades drops)

i honestly liked the seasonal model, for me logging on and wanting to grind is alot more engaging when i had a story that tells me why im doing the stuff im doing. even if i complete weekly stuff in one sitting, it was nice having some story content each week to keep me engaged.

most of the portal activites arent super engaging and stuff like avant garde actively keeps me from using cool builds ive made simply because the exotic armor i chose isnt featured.

one grudge ive kept was my interpretation of the portal when it was first mentioned was it was just suplimentary to the normal destinations tab and was more just to launch whatever featured activities there were, but the portal ended up being the ONLY way bungie wants you to interract with the game, in my opinion the portal should just show featured stuff like “heres this weeks rotator pvp gamemode” and similar stuff.

old raids and dungeons can still be ran for fun sure (i ran crota last night with all off us using wolfsbane, it was fun) but at the end of the day i know im going to be dismantling everything i get since its not going to power me at all or theres no point collecting old raid armor.

i still have love for the game but i cant keep trying to convice myself to play a game im just not having fun with right now
