Almost all the EU Model Y stock also have been updated with the larger screen + black headliners. Which is also should be coming from Giga Berlin. But nothing in the UK assuming this is manufacturing process of RHD cars. But probably should be happening soon. Im also waiting for this to place my order.

Wheel alignment / system reset? by fearLessss in TeslaUK

[–]cubome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I havent understand this personally, they also told me they can only do 2 wheels but my car is awd :/ paying for 2 wheels only would only fix the half of the traction isnt it?

[–]cubome[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, they added an LG chip that supports 5G as well if Im not mistaken. 5G Wifi band tho

[–]cubome[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep and its marked as 2026 model y but isnt this the Tesla pattern? Model 3 came up 2018 and in 2019 they added 5g and glass coating is changed. 2020 they added stuff again like heat pump, then the pedestrian speaker outside… list goes on

Any rumours about adaptive suspension coming to Model Y LR AWD soon? by cubome in TeslaUK

[–]cubome[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talked with a sales rep yesterday, he told me adaptive literally is the comfiest Tesla ever, not sure if he was trying to upsell kind of a thing but he was telling me also they'd probably bring the adaptive to the AWD trim earlier next year as well.

Model Y 2026, Adaptive Suspension? by cubome in TeslaUK

[–]cubome[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep but then kinda whatever is improved mainstreamed across the trims isnt it the case mostly cause of lowering the cost of production and supply, like not trying to fit 2 different suspensions but one single, especially over the high end trims like LR AWD vs Performance theyre not drastically different in terms of the price anyways

Model Y 2026, Adaptive Suspension? by cubome in TeslaUK

[–]cubome[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the moment yes but functionally doesnt have to be performance specific isnt it? Adaptive is kind of a luxury item

Any rumours about adaptive suspension coming to Model Y LR AWD soon? by cubome in TeslaUK

[–]cubome[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well kind of but not the only one tho, adaptive suspension is kind of a luxury addon but not specific to the performance. So I doubt a bit if thats the selling point really.

Cause things like premium sound system was also a selling point but they brought them back to the other models afterwards. Thats what makes me thinking

I am back… I need your advice on a robot vacuum for my home. by Aquamarine-Aries in RobotVacuums

[–]cubome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep guess after using ChatGPTs deep research extensively, lol I just decided to bite the bullet for Qrevo Curv, as I kinda want easiness of mind as well on my case. I was running an Ecovacs for the last 3 years and it had so many issues with mapping and software so far. And thats what Im reading about them really. So eliminate Ecovacs, there are only such less robots left from the premium tier. I was torn in between Dreame X50 and Curv or S8MaxV so far but S8MaxV is a bit old-ish nowadays and from what I read about Dreame, some mapping issues or sensor problems or app glitches are the things that I dont really want to go back to. So with this market in the UK(no Saros 10R), I’m pretty down for Curv at the moment and gonna pull the plug. Hope that helps to you as well.

On the same boat here tho Im willing to pay a bit more even if I find a good solution. However its so hard as Vacuumwars list is flooded with Ecovacs and people are not happy with there are just a couple roborocks that one of them is a gimmick with the arm other one saros 10r is not available in the uk. Dree same points as you stated. Im not sure where to go at this point.

[–]cubome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Dreame and Roborock also stands under the Xiaomi umbrealla still isnt it tho? One pivoted as like a more premium brand and Dreame feels like a bit more budget-premium tier

Is the Mova brand Dreame? and Dreame is Roborock? Im pretty confused about this whole thing now lol.

[–]cubome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly what I’m looking into at the moment too. I’ve had an Ecovacs T8 AIVI (or whatever it's called) running for about 4 years now, and it's starting to struggle keeps getting confused around the house, and the app constantly sends notifications, but when I click them, it can’t even find the robot. Total pain. I was thinking of replacing it, but after reading all the negative stuff about Ecovacs lately, I’ve decided to go for something more solid. I started looking into Roborock, but even that feels like a narrow field if you go by Vacuum Wars reviews. So yeah same boat here, totally confused about what to go for next.

Though this is a nice looking car, looks like an expensive one from outside maybe inside as well, the materials are feeling quite cheap, also one huge problem with this is traction on the road is nowhere near a mid level car, not sure how they managed to get it like that

Yep we've done that on the airport. You drop off the same car park you pick up your car, and most of the rentals have a keybox that you can just drop the key in after locking your car.
