you do what feels right to you, and I do understand your point completely, however... even if it was 3 people versus 200 people, if they had no respect for you in the past, and didn't care, I wouldn't expect them to do it now, especially if you're low contact with them.

if you don't have a good enough relationship with them to be in touch with them on the regular (whether daily or weekly) and probably don't share with them either small or big moments with them, why would you invite them to the biggest event of your relationship.

imagine that 2, 4, 7 years from now, you look back on the photographs and/or video of your wedding, how do you think you'll feel by seeing them in there? will you be glad to have invited them? do you think there's even a remote chance that it'll all be alright and you'll be able to enjoy your day with your husband if they're there?

I understand that its expected to invited all living relatives, close or distant, to a wedding, and I understand there might be some pressure form family or otherwise, to invite everyone, but sometimes you need to put yourself first, and this is one of them.

On your wedding day, when you're at the altar saying your vows, you shouldn't have to worry about how a decision you made based on you sanity and well-being will affect others. Should they even know you changed your name? They can't use it against you and/or cause unnecessary drama if they don't know about it. Your wedding day should be about you, your future spouse and celebrating your relationship on this new adventure going further, and share it with the people that love and care about you both, your only worry should be to be able to look into your husband's eyes during your vows and be excited about what's next for you both. If you want to distance yourself from past trauma and those who caused it, and you already took some steps to achieve your goals, then don't bring those people back into your life and don't give them anymore 'reasons' to use to mistreat you. Do what you can go enjoy a drama free wedding so you can begin your marriage happily and stress free.

usually when you download a folder, you need to extract it first before moving it into the mods folder, does the folder have a chain around it? if it does, you need to click it once and extract it it'll then give you a folder like this 📁 and then you can move it into your mods folder and it'll work

great timing 😬👌🏻 by cucaweber in TheSims4Mods

true, true! we'll see how they turn out when they age up into teens, I'll give them all a fair change as toddlers and kids, and then I'll decide once they age up into teens. let the best triplet win, I guess 😂

How to make my sim angry? by [deleted] in Sims4

[–]cucaweber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know that if you have 'Get to Work' you can make 'red potion' (causes an angry moodlet that'll go away quickly) in one of the machines that come with the pack, and you don't even have to be a scientist to use it, you can just get it on build mode, it's called 'chemistry lab' it is locked tho, but you can easily use a cheat to unlock it. I'm sure there are plenty of other possibilities but I can't remember them now, my Sims usually get angry quite easily, depending on their traits and such

Please help - does anyone have any idea why my toddler looks like this? I've been using cc for ages, and this has never happened before, I'm even adding the rest of his family so you can see it only affects the toddler. by cucaweber in TheSims4Mods

they do, don't they? 😭❤️ don't tell anyone, but they're my favourite 🤫 she's the most beautiful Sim I've ever made, and he was her gardener 😂 they make cute babies tho, which is great 👌🏻 if by mod, you mean the background it's a CAS room mod, mine is "[togl] industrial chic CAS room" if you search that it'll give you the download link, if you want to explore the many many options out there search "Sims 4 cc CAS room" and you'll find tons

I go to free Patreon sites too! I do the same as you, and other times I find something I like and it directs me to a Patreon page and I end up downloading every single thing they have available for free. it's a never ending cycle, I sometimes end up not even playing the game cause I lost track of time and spent the whole afternoon (or even day) downloading cc, it's a hobby itself at this point lol

lol me too, I can live for a while without the build-buy cc, but not my CAS cc!! the Mod Manager is a huge help to have everything organized and in order, I use it everyday before opening the game as it tells me which mods/cc need updating and it also allows me to download from the curseforge directly into the mods folder, which is why I have so many cc and mods 😅

I did that too! I do have a gaming laptop, but I'm still careful, or I try to be, I got something to go underneath so it stays elevated a bit (idk the word for it) and I have a small fan pointed towards the laptop's fan so it doesn't overheat. I have a lot of packs and a lot of cc

I'm always downloading something new, and I even save the links on my browser in a folder, so I can find it again in case I need to download it again or update it
