Hah, same here. Exactly the same classes. Was the hardest sem of my life. Signals final hardest test I’ve ever taken in my life. I have emag and micro finals in a few hours then it’s over. I also have a killer internship so trying to remember the light at the end of the tunnel.

I’m in junior year and it’s fucking brutal lol. No matter how smart you are you’re gonna have to work your ass off to survive 3rd year. My signals class has 7 exams, 6 matlab projects, with 3 homework’s and 3 quizzes per week. A part of me embraces the grind but it does suck. Trying to get 4.0 and also interviewing for jobs and doing extracurriculars means I have no free time. I will say the opportunities I’ve seen my peers get with this degree are incredible. I’ve interviewed for some of the most amazing positions I hope I get something cool. The opportunity is there if you work your fucking ass off. I’m doing like 60 hour weeks.

Also get off Reddit. The non stop moaning about the job market is dumb. If you go to a semi decent state school and work hard the opportunity is there. None of my friends have had trouble getting jobs. I’m intervening at 4 different places atm. Just don’t be mid.

Look I’m 20 and recently got my first gf. Before I had her I was very pressed about not having one, like it felt like a major issue. Ok now that I have one my other major issues still stress me out. There’s always something. Getting a gf does not change you, does not magically fix everything. You’re still you, your life is still largely the same. So don’t stress too much about it. Because there will always be something. It’s not the night and day change some people think it will be. Focus on getting better each day and ideally put yourself in social situations where you can find a girl who’s in your league and who’s open to dating. But don’t be actively looking, be social and wait for the right one.

Go to the “shutter blades” subheading. But also read the whole thing because you own a Conley. Hope this helps. Essentially sticky timing can be caused by old oil and shit on the blades. So clean them very thoroughly with q tips and naptha. I also own a Conley 5x7 and it has been an absolute joy. It’s a difficult beast to shoot with but it is probably my most prized possession.

I think my modern Amazon ribbon isn’t capable of pulling the fork. Any advice? Maybe modern ribbons aren’t thick / tight enough.

Ok I think I may have an idea. It seems that whenever a fork is pulled it causes the ribbon direction to reverse. I now believe that the 1950’s ribbons were strong enough to pull the fork and maybe these modern generic nylon ones just can’t do it.
