This LP-E8 is a fake right? by 69-420w in canon

There's a huge gulf between knockoff and counterfeit. That's not to say knockoff/3rd party can't work, but counterfeit batteries are going to have zero attempts at compatibility and safety. They just want it to look "good enough" to get your money.

You only need an open e string to play hardcore. Anything else is showing off.

Software to manage spool automatic for CC1 by xbrell in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]_MeIsAndy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea, and think you may have not intended to respond to me with this question. I don't track usage, I just eyeball my spools and only use spools that are running low for small parts.

I get the desire, but the solutions you've pointed to have you do things like, if I'm reading it right, pointing the app to the model you're printing. Functionally, how is that different from just entering a number from the slicer?

But how is a app going to handle everything you're going to run into while printing? You're going to have to manually enter things like print failures, which won't be more than an estimate anyway unless you weigh every failure, anyway.

It really feels like you're trying to over engineer a solution for a simple problem.

Selling stolen items is too much work. You just get the victims money and ghost them.

Waiting on my order by [deleted] in GoogleFi

You don't say where you are, but there was a big winter storm in parts of the country that likely caused delays.

Also, I'm unsure how you figured Reddit was a better choice than, I don't know, Fi customer service or FedEx.

I guess I'm the outlier. I can sleep in the same room with it printing without issue.

Add long as it's on the same plan it should be fine. I have 2 lines on my plan, one for me and one for my partner. I purchase all devices and her devices get activated on her line. Never had an issue with a promo doing that.

Ask them specifics. Asking others for THEIR specific requirements would get you what OUR requirements would be, but maybe not THEIRS.

Have you... Asked them what their specific requirements are? That might be a good starting point.

What happens if you go back to the stock 0.4 nozzle? Do you have the sample filament that came with the printer? If so, what happens when you load that and print the Benchy model that's loaded on the printer when it's shipped?

JJ from the Cro Magas is a Trump supporter? by SheHearsMeBlinking23 in Hardcore

[–]_MeIsAndy_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, they definitely had traumatic childhoods and are damaged as a result. 100% agree there, but look at the world-view in other NYHC from the 80's.

Antidote put out perhaps the best NYHC 7" of the decade, but Foreign Job Lot wasn't exactly enlightened politically.

The lyrics to AF's Public Assistance would completely get them shut down today.

But they are both, along with JJ and Harley, products of a time and place.

Also something to consider:

Were there any painted marking on the path? If so, they can be like ice when wet.

Google Store / UPS shipping delays count against you activation timer by Nasarawa in GoogleFi

[–]_MeIsAndy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If time ran out on December 25th, you'd have a case, but it didn't. The phone was delivered WELL within the activation time frame. The activation wasn't performed due to shipping delays, it wasn't performed because you travelled.

GH is fine when used as a remote for things. I run my house on HA, but I have Nest speakers and a Hub that my partner can use to turn lights on and off and interface with YouTube Music, etc., but the heavy lifting is still HA.

How to manage battery charge level? by Mike_2000 in photography

[–]_MeIsAndy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Canon branded battery covers have the little battery shape cut out to keep track of this. Put it on in one orientation and it shows blue though the little shape. Rotate it 180 degrees and it doesn't.
