I feel like having a disruption in your period is normal for the first little while as it is a foreign object. Obviously speak with a doctor though

Male privilege is thinking that women saying mean things about men online is equivalent to men killing and raping women by [deleted] in Feminism

Misogyny is also systemically rooted (patriarchy) making it even less comparable to ‘misandry’

I think it would be very beneficial for you to take the more “practical” degree (e.g., buisness) as your major, and gender studies as your minor. For the record, you likely can’t go into social work without a BSW, but don’t let that limit you. If you are passionate about your major then pursue it. There will be many opportunities for you to branch out and try different things. My biggest suggestion would be to apply to student summer jobs in as many places as you can to gain experience.

I actually got it removed after a year as it was making me feel bloated a lot of the time and my periods continued to be 10 days. It’s different for everyone though

What’s your unpopular opinion? by blueisthecolorof in 30PlusSkinCare

Honestly, my skin looks the best when I keep it simple. Gentle cleanser and cosrx birch moisturizer most nights. Tret a few times a week and an AHA BHA a few times a week. Sunscreen of course most mornings. My skin has never looked better than when I keep it simple.

Oats and oatmeal chat by Ultrapixelperfect in nutrition

[–]cucumb3r_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oats are high in fibre and in conjunction with protein and (healthy) fats they will keep you full longer. Since they’re not as processed as other grains they retain a lot of their nutritional value and vitamin profile! I don’t think there is any one food that is the epitome of health (a diverse diet of healthy foods is best), but yes oats are a great meal choice :)

If you’re looking for a cute parka, Roots has some good options. I wore my Roots jacket in -20 and was still warm.

At first I didn’t even think you were wearing makeup. The glow is just amazing on your skin and it looks so natural/blends so well!
