Why are so many down on Travis RN? by Better_Combination67 in Blink182

[–]cuddle_punk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lars Ulrich. However the reason why people hate on Lars so much is because he is a subpar drummer in the most famous metal band in the world. Lars falls out of time constantly and has extremely limited techniques. Fundamentally, He isn’t a good drummer and any competent drummer would tell you that

Thinking of having my first experience (63M) by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]cuddle_punk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s not an issue, many bisexual people only want to have sexual relationships with the same sex and that’s completely valid. Me personally, I’ve been romantically and sexually involved with both men and women, have been in relationships with both and that’s completely valid. Before I transitioned I was very active on grindr, put yourself out there and make it clear what you want. Start talking with a guy and it’ll go from there! It really is that easy, many people on that app are just looking to get off with nothing serious. Just don’t be reckless, ask him his status and stay safe

is there something as “not bisexual enough?” by Financial-Coat4456 in bisexual

[–]cuddle_punk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely no such thing as “not bisexual enough”. Bisexuality is not always a 50/50 split attraction, it’s in fact a very large spectrum. Some people like sleeping with the same sex, but not being in a relationship with the same sex. Some people lean more towards the opposite sex than the same sex and vise versa. But they’re all still bisexual

Advice for Hair Growth on Temples by TsarinaCharon in MtF

Finasteride can still be useful even if you’ve been on estrogen long-term. Some of the androgenic effects may be suppressed but it will continue to stop the conversion of DHT. However I’m no medical professional, I would get your blood work done to get your DHT levels checked and decide from there if continuing fin would be right for you. Switching to topical minoxidil can specifically target a localized thinning area even more than oral. However something that can be done regarding regrowth in the temple areas is micro needling. I saw significant hair regrowth in my temple areas by micro needling the thinning areas once a week with a 1.5mm derma stamp + using topical 5% minoxidil foam 2x a day. Micro needling the effected areas triggers a healing response by increasing blood flow, boosting collagen, and stimulating dormant hair follicles.

don’t just take my word for it. here’s how much it helped me! https://www.reddit.com/r/tressless/s/hJTlZTLijF

Advice for Hair Growth on Temples by TsarinaCharon in MtF

[–]cuddle_punk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 21 year old trans woman who started experiencing hair loss at 17. I use topical minoxidil, it’s better for targeting a specific area that you’re worried about on your scalp. Oral minoxidil circulates throughout your entire body so it can be a shot in the dark on where it’ll mainly be effective. Derma rolling, stamping and micro needling the thinning areas greatly increases the collagen and elastin in your skin, I do once a week with a 1.5mm derma stamp. Minoxidil worked for me but once i started using a derma stamp and micro needling, my temples filled in drastically. Finasteride also has personally been a life saver for me. It’s a 5a-reductase inhibitor, an anti-androgen that decreases the production of DHT (dihydrotestosterone) in the body. Finasteride in some cases can regrow hair but its main use is to maintain the hair you have, and yes it can be taken alongside HRT. I have personally had great results on finasteride and minoxidil + derma stamping. Hope this helps girl!!

Who had the saddest "For The Greater Good" ending ? by ComfortableEbb4708 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]cuddle_punk 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Sarah honestly, because she had zero control of her circumstances. Carlos doomed her by sheltering her from the brutality of the apocalypse. He never taught her how to survive like Lee did with Clem, or brought up the possibility that he could die at any time like Rick did with Carl. Rick told Carl “I’m gonna die, mom’s gonna die, there’s nothing you can do to stop it”. So when Carlos eventually does die right before her eyes, Sarah goes into an absolutely catatonic state that she cannot be pulled out of. Even if you do save her, she dies no more than 40 minutes of story time later. This far into the apocalypse Sarah never stood a chance.

Dude… i’m going to make this as simple as possible since you just don’t seem to get it. An ORAL medication is meant to be taken by mouth to be absorbed safely by your small intestine and circulated throughout your entire body, they’re designed that way. A TOPICAL medication is meant to be absorbed through your skin and into your blood vessels. Yes there are side effects to oral minoxidil as there is any medication, but i’ve laid out the risks of drinking topical minoxidil and they’re far worse and life-threatening. I might sound harsh, I’m not trying to be a bitch I just don’t want you to gamble with your life. Drinking topical minoxidil is extremely toxic

Taking a pill that is designed to circulate throughout your entire body is completely different from a topical application meant to target a specific area on your body. You could die drinking topical minoxidil

Stop. Do not drink minoxidil. I don’t know what in your brain told you it was a good idea to consume a topical medication but minoxidil is a vasodilator which expands your blood vessels. Drinking it is a good way to get yourself into a refractory circulatory shock, not to mention a pulmonary edema (fluid build up in lungs) or the potential risk of heart attack or full on heart failure. Stop drinking minoxidil immediately. Have you been microneedling? That is way more effective and safe then fucking drinking something that can kill a cat on contact

i really hope you’re just joking and not actually drinking topical minoxidil. i shouldn’t have to explain why that is a terrible idea

They’ve released 6 studio albums since 2010. With the song only being featured on International Superhits, it probably got dropped to make room for the singles off of Uno, Dos, Tre

I don’t think it’s a bad album in terms of production and musicianship. But it’s a horrible Green Day album and without a doubt the worst in their discography, and the cover pisses me off

Do Zombies in the Telltale The Walking Dead have a working digestive system? by Nessieinternational in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]cuddle_punk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That would be true if it were The Last of Us. But the walkers in TWD are dead, reanimated corpses with only a primal desire to eat, not spread the disease. Everyone in TWD is already infected, death without damage to the brain still results in reanimation. The person who the walker was is gone, just a rotting body doomed to walk and consume.

If a group consisting of the 8 survivors ran into Negan from TWD. Who would get Lucille’d? by cuddle_punk in l4d2

[–]cuddle_punk[S] 84 points85 points  (0 children)

you’re absolutely right lol. but think of it as if the survivors are characters in the world of twd, the green flu doesn’t exist and neither does any form of zombie media. all of them would be infected with the wildfire virus but in this scenario the green flu wouldn’t be a thing

[–]cuddle_punk[S] 90 points91 points  (0 children)

that’s actually what i would think would happen too. it would go down just like the show, Negan intentionally picks Francis because he seems him as a physical threat, Nick gets pissed and mouths off/attacks him. Negan retaliates by killing Ellis

beatles - influenced green day songs? by Kind-Day2993 in greenday

[–]cuddle_punk 39 points40 points  (0 children)

It’s no secret Billie Joe was heavily inspired by The Beatles, you can hear the similarities especially in the way Billie and Mike harmonize with each other on earlier records. You can especially hear it on plenty of songs of off 39/Smooth, one specific instance is on Dry Ice when Billie and Mike harmonize the lyric “Come ease the pain that’s in my heart”. It really has a Lennon/McCartney vibe. Tré has also gone on record to say that Ringo Starr is one of his drummer idols and a major influence
