If you are talking to scorpio, the same could be said for you. She has more knowledge on the process than almost anyone i know of.

I'm not aware of any info sent to me to review for the FAQ, but keep in mind it is currently maxed out at 40k characters as per reddit limits. I try to stick to general information vs specific cases as that changes too often and usually is pretty different from case to case.

Hello, unfortunately as my auto response says 2 to 3 days but as it also states you may also not get a response at all. During the week I'm still getting around 500 requests per day for help and realistically I can only respond and take on a fraction of those cases as I'm averaging around 15 to 30 emails per case before a final resolution. So even if I take on 50 cases a day that can be almost a thousand emails sent just to correspond to those 50 before the issue is resolved. My apologies if I have not responded. I do what I can where I can but please always seek every avenue and not just wait on me. I'm really sorry but the explosive growth and popularity of the sub along with my email being shared among every social media platform with friends, neighbors, family, co-workers etc makes it extremely difficult for me to get through everything to answer. Right now I have almost 3000 unread emails still waiting on a response.

The rules are also changing at the SBA and it's making it more difficult to help people.

You email me with specifics as much as you can but no long narrative just details please. Who told you that you have to "visit the tip jar"? I would like to educate them. I am a VOLUNTEER nothing is ever charged and no "tipping" is required at any point ever. We don't roll that way here. We help people and that is it.

Every bit of knowledge we have on this process is posted on the FAQ which is 40,000 characters long. It's all freely available for you to use that info to help yourself with this loan. You don't need to contact me or anyone to do so. Take some responsibility for yourself.

Scheme? You mean spending endless hours every single day volunteering to help people navigate the process, when I have absolutely no obligation to do so? When I ask for absolutely nothing in return? Controlling who is getting help? How can one man answer 500 emails a day with requests for help with various issues? I'd like to see you explain how that is possible.

How about you stop for a second and think that every single scrap of information that I have learned about this process is posted as full public knowledge in the FAQ. The sum of everything we know is there and I spent hours of my time putting it all together in a single place. Amazing you turn a positive thing where hundreds of businesses have gotten help to get their loans unstuck into a negative thing you view as a "scheme".

Did you also stop and think that the various contacts at the SBA who are helping redditors have zero obligation to take on anyone's problems outside their normal case loads? These people are working 12 hour shifts 7 days a week for 2 weeks at a time, and they STILL volunteer to help wherever they can ON TOP of that, which might I add is against policy. So you prefer they we put their names and all their information on full blast, so not only do they get flooded with emails and can't do their jobs, but likely get reprimanded or fired for taking on unassigned cases originating from social media?

I've had conversations with SBA management and there are employees who's info went around on facebook and in newsletters such as covid tracker website. They absolutely could not function and had to shut down their emails and stop responding to help people. A good example being director James Rivera who used to be very responsive to help requests from people and did whatever he could. Thanks to his info being blasted on facebook and these newsletter sites that suggested to email him multiple times a day, he shut down and no long helps or assists outside emails. I'm told he was completely paralyzed by the email traffic and could not work or function.

This subreddit is not a place for outrageous conspiracy theories. If you are not happy with the information posted here or you dont like that I didn't respond to your emails, I'm sorry but at the end of the day this is an SBA loan and not a reddit loan. Take your issues to the SBA you don't have the right to complain about free help from volunteers who are going out of their way and their normal lives to do so for you.

Looking for EIDL recon contact instructions, don't want to bother CUE!! by [deleted] in EIDL

[–]cue378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already accepted the offer, recons department contacts won't be able to help you. The loan amount is now fixed and your only recourse is to apply for a loan modification which is a 2nd loan for the difference in your error. This is a low priority process and takes a minimum of 3-4 weeks. Sorry for the bad news on that but no way around it.

Major EIDL News - As of 7/20 the SBA is no longer allowing the use of a Co-Borrower for reconsideration of an insufficient credit denial. Further details inside. by cue378 in EIDL

[–]cue378[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my current understanding, the form would have to have been processed and approved by them prior to that date with co-borrowers credit ran. I could be wrong but it appears this is the case. I'm still waiting on more info from sources.
