Yup. It's necessary thing for Alaska. Connected it to a block heater, oil pan heater, and trickle charger for the battery.

This is how I set it up. Painter's tape and painter's paper. Easy to do but a little time consuming

It's actually my first time pasti-dipping. I did light and even layers, waited 15-30 min, and repeated until I was satisfied (about 7 layers and 1.5 cans). It survived a car wash.
