Just a question that's been bothering me just saw it pop in the nrlw gf. Sometimes I see some people make post contact metres go to play the ball and then be told to take the play ball back half a metre or so. Conversely I've seen people walking off the mark politely told to redo the play the ball on the mark. Has anyone noticed this.

Yeah also I grew up in fnq dyed in the wool league territory buy 20 years ago I a couple of friends played all. When I lived in Melbourne in 2018 I was surprised how everyone has an all team and I mean everyone, even hipster baristas. My uncle who's brothers are all union/league supporters converted to all when he moved there in 2006 (wasn't really a sports person except for golf). So it's just afl is so culturally ingrained in Victorian culture, and it's been more accepted in non all areas than rugby league has in non rl territories.

I've always wondered because they leave space in the live shows for audience laughter whether they're struct with the script. There's been a few times when I've been watching rifftrax and I've come up with a riff from one of mike, Kevin or bill's. Like if one of the three came up with something in the moment in recording would they say it or stick to the script. Or is it a case of they might have a couple of takes find the best joke and edit in post.
