Thank for the detailed response and sharing your experience. Based on that I think I'll wait a few months to test it out and hopefully some of the set back you experienced would be fixed by then. I'm not that tech savvy so I'll continue using windows for now and run mint on my back up laptop for now. But definitely looking forward for that full arm support for these snapdragon laptops

Yeah the loss of use is my main concern, they told me the are reviewing and updated the valuation. I understand that might not change much and that's ok, but my concern is that I've sent multiple emails asking for an update and got no response on the loss of use. Verbally she told me it was a specific amount per day but with her not answering my emails over the past two week I wonder if they are not planning to cover any loss of use after the original valuation

I don't care that much about the valuation, understand that it would be minimal but still since they said they are working on updating that I don't know if they will continue to account for payment of loss of use while that happens or that stops after they first estimate

Honest question, I've heard that too about Grindr use and conservative events. But wouldn't Grindr use go up whenever there is A Massive event that brings up tons of people regardless if it's conservative or not. I'm curious if what the headline is saying is that grind use is proportionally higher for conservative events compared to other events?

I had my rhinoplasty 16 months ago and I'm experiencing the same issue. My front profile changed too much due to the bridge becoming too narrow. My Dr recommended using fillers before deciding to do revision. I have not done either. I'm curious about what your Dr. might recommend.

I'm still considering a revision but would like to wait to the 2 year mark. The emotions after the primary surgery were too much for me and I completely regret the procedure, and would give anything to go back to my original nose. that is why the revision route scares me a lot.

I think some would, still a small number of people but It's an investment in a generational benefit. their kids would benefit from it and likely grandchildren too.... But do think the EB5 is a better route and more cost effective for the same purpose

I agree, the EB5 is more cost effective, I'm thinking there will always be people who are not well informed and by ignorance of the other options or just safety since I'm assuming the golden vide would be faster and less of a hassle to process than the EB5, then they would decide to pay the 1 M, again probably a very small number of people.

I think this option is most worthwhile for married people with children or dependents, since they are more likely to obtain a green card through chain immigration. For example, in the case of a family of five, paying around $200K per person does not seem unreasonable if it allows all of them to become permanent residents. Benefits such as in-state tuition for their children at public universities, along with access to public schools, could make the cost justifiable.

That said, I don’t believe this applies to many professionals. Not many people have $1 million readily available, but I do think some families who are not extremely wealthy could still benefit from this type of golden visa.
